In addition to the traditional Adult Singles and Scotch Doubles divisions, we will be hosting the 3rd  ANNUAL WISCONSIN JUNIOR 8-BALL CHAMPIONSHIPS – sanctioned by the Billiard Education Foundation (BEF)

2018 Wisconsin Junior 8-Ball Championships (sanctioned by the BEF)

NATIONAL BENEFITS:  Medalists in all divisions qualify to enter the 2019 State Games of America in Lynchburg, VA.

For those who want to cheer on our athletes and to see them bring home the gold here are a few tips:

ONLINE: Match times, flow charts and results may be viewed at prior to and during competition.
Best place to view the event & how much you can see: All the games and best place to view is from the spectator seating.
Seating Available or bring your own chairs: Spectator seating will be available and be adjacent to each pool table.
Admission Fee: Free admission for spectators.
Concessions: Some food & beverage will be available.
Carry-ins allowed (food &/or drink): Not Allowed.
Merchandise: Some billiard-related product will be available for raffle.  All proceeds go to the junior-divisions sponsor – ACS (a non-profit association)
Are Signs or Noise makers allowed: No.

** Women’s ‘Open’ Singles for accomplished A/AA/Master skill levels, Women’s ‘B’ Singles for lower A and B skill levels. Commissioners will make final determination of skill levels.
*** If 16 or more Scotch Doubles teams, Commissioners will split competition into two divisions (Upper and Lower) based on overall team skill levels – as determined by the Commissioners.  A Scotch Double team is comprised of one male and one female.

No cash prizes will be awarded. Competition is for Gold, Silver and Bronze medals only.
Open to amateurs only. Junior-aged players may partner with adult in Scotch Doubles Team divisions. Each player enters on only one Scotch Doubles (male/female) team. No smoking allowed in tournament room.
Double-elimination 8-ball world-standardized rules (ACS/BCA) will govern the tournament. See rules at:, and Races to 4 (Men's division & 18 & Under Boys); Races to 3 (Women's division and all other junior divisions); Teams in Scotch Doubles can be composed of any one male/female-races to 3 in the winner’s bracket/ races to 2 in the loser’s bracket (if size of the field requires this); flip for opening break, alternating break. Competition on 3.5' x 7' Valley tables with Red Circle cue balls provided by Break and Scratch. Individuals may enter only one Singles division and only one Scotch Doubles team division.
Men and women may wear polo/golf-style or button-down-style shirts with a conventional fold over collar. Men may also wear dress shirts with Henley collars or tuxedo shirts with appropriate formal necktie. Women may wear dress blouses. One exception! The Official 2016 Badger State Winter Games T-Shirt.

Men/Boys must wear long pants, either dress pants or neat, clean, casual pants including jeans. Women/Girls may wear dress pants, capri-style pants or neat, clean, casual pants including jeans. Women may also wear culottes, skirts or dresses of conservative length.

Men, women and juniors must wear neat, clean, close-toed shoes at all times. Should a player require a footwear exception for medical reasons, the player must provide a letter on official letterhead from his/her healthcare provider prior to the tournament.
