Additional Information + Extras:

25-yard pool with 6 lanes. Starting pool depth is 11 feet with 30-inch starting blocks.
Turning end is 4 feet deep. The Competition course has not been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C (4).

Lost & Found: Located at the awards table during the meet. After the meet, check with or call Kelly Carlson (920) 858-1057 for any lost and found items.

DEADLINE:
Entry Chairperson must receive entries no later than 5:00 pm, Wednesday, June 1, 2016.

Team Entries: Please submit entries on HY-TEC by e-mail or disk. Hard copy backup, waiver, and fees are due to the Entry Chairperson no later than 5:00 pm, Wednesday, June 1, 2016.

Individual Entries: If the swimmer is not currently registered with a recognized swim team, please contact our Entry Chairperson.

*NOTE: On-Site Registration (Deck Entries) will be available at the discretion of the Commissioner and only to fill open lanes.*

Entry Limit:
Each swimmer may swim a maximum of 4 individual events per day with a maximum of 8 total individual per swimmer for the meet. 1 relay per day.

Positive check-in is required for swimmers in the 500 free events on Sunday morning for 9-10 and 11-12 and Sunday afternoon for the 13-14 and open event no later than 30 minutes
before the meet starts. If the timeline runs over, we will limit the number of entries for the 500.

Entry fees:
$5 per individual event $20 per relay
$3 splash fee must be paid for each swimmer entered.
$8 Badger State Games Registration Fee

All fees and signed waiver forms must accompany entries. Event and Splash Fee Checks should be made payable to WAUSAU TIDE SWIM CLUB.
Badger State Games Registration Fee should be made out separately and payable to Badger State Games.

Deck Entries:
Deck entries accepted at the discretion of the Meet Director & only to fill open lanes.
Deck entry fee is $5.00 per Individual Event and $20.00 per relay.
Deck Entry closes 30 minutes before the start of the meet.

Swimmers may compete in a maximum of four (4) events per day and a maximum of 8 total. One relay per day.  WISCONSIN and ILLINOIS RESIDENTS ONLY.  Deck entries will be allowed at the discretion of the Commissioner and only to fill open lanes.

For those that want to cheer on our athletes and to see them bring home the gold here are a few tips:

Admission Fee: Free admission.

Concessions: Concessions will be available in the cafeteria. Swimmers are allowed sipper bottles on deck. No food or drink allowed in pool area. Please make sure swimmer’s area on deck and in the rest area is picked up after each session.

First Aid Kit:
Please report any injuries to the Lifeguard and to the Meet Director. A First Aid Kit is available through the lifeguard.

Lockers: Women and Men's lockers are available. Swimmers are responsible for securing their own belongings. Wausau Tide will not be responsible for lost articles.
In accordance with the Federal Video Voyeurism Prevention Act of 2004 – the use of camera phones or video recording devices in the locker rooms is prohibited.

Saturday Morning Session (9-10 and 11-12):
Warm-ups 7:00 – 8:00 a.m., Meet starts at 8:05 a.m.

Saturday Afternoon Session (8 & Under, 13-14, and Open):
Afternoon Warm-ups will begin at the completion of the morning session and will run for 55
minutes. The meet will begin 5 minutes after warm-ups have been completed.

Sunday Morning Session (9-10 and 11-12):
Warm-ups 7:00 – 8:00 a.m., Meet starts at 8:05 a.m.

Sunday Afternoon Session (8 & Under, 13-14, Open)
Afternoon Warm-ups will begin at the completion of the morning session and will run 55
minutes. The meet will begin 5 minutes after warm-ups have been completed.
*A.M. and P.M. Sessions will have 30 minutes of circle swimming with no racing starts.

Sprint lanes will be opened during the second 30 minutes.
*Feet first three-point entries from the starting end of the pool during general warm-ups
will be enforced for all sanctioned/approved competition.

Sunday Afternoon Masters Session
Masters Warm-ups will begin at the completion of the afternoon session. Warmups will run for
30 minutes.

*A.M. and P.M. Sessions will have 30 minutes of circle swimming with no racing starts.

Sprint lanes will be opened during the second 30 minutes.

*Feet first three-point entries from the starting end of the pool during general warmups will be enforced for all sanctioned/approved competition.

Running Order:
*Heat sheets will be available for purchase each day ($4).

Format: 8 and Under swimmers may report to the designated staging area. All other swimmers report to the blocks prior to your event. This is a pre-seeded meet. Heat/Events may be combined due to time constraints, but will be awarded separately.

Awards: Medals will be awarded in all age groups for individual and relay events: Gold, Silver, & Bronze. Ribbons will be awarded 4th-12th for individual events in the 8 & Under, 9-10, and 11-12 age groups.

Meet Results: A copy of final results will be mailed within one week. Results will be returned on team disk if a disk was provided. Other results will be emailed the following day if an email address is provided.



USA and Wisconsin Short Course rules shall prevail. All USA-Swimming Registered
swimmers are welcome to participate. Swimmers who are not registered in USA-Swimming
are also welcome and encouraged to participate. Age is as of June 11, 2016

Timing System:
Daktronics timing system and touch pads will be utilized, along with two back-up timers for each lane.

USA Swimming membership not required.

Conduct:
*All coaches and/or parents/guardian are responsible for the conduct of their swimmers. Any violation such as improper behavior or damage to property, etc. may result in removal of the swimmer from the meet and/or disqualification of swimmer's individual events.

*Any swimmer entered in the meet, unaccompanied by a USA Swimming member coach, must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. It is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement.

* Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is not appropriate and is prohibited.
